Since 2015, our practice has been built on the shoulders of our incredible, dedicated staff and our adherence to our mission - to deliver an exceptional and deeply personal veterinary experience where every pet and person feels genuinely cared for by a dedicated team who thrives in their work.
Our Story
Vet At Your Door began in 2015 with a simple belief: veterinary medicine should feel personal, meaningful, and deeply connected. After years of racing through 15 minute appointments in a traditional clinic, Dr. Deirdre Frey saw pets who were terrified, families who felt unheard, and veterinary teams who were exhausted and burning out. She knew there had to be a better way that cared just as much for the humans providing the care as for the pets receiving it.

So she created a house call practice built on trust, time, empathy, and the comfort of home. As we grew, we introduced our One Team model. Each family is paired with the same veterinarian, technician, and client liaison who learn your pet’s quirks, celebrate their milestones, and support them throughout every stage of life. Even as new teams join our practice, the experience remains small, familiar, and grounded in real relationships.

As we scale, our mission is to protect what makes this model special. We are actively working toward becoming an employee owned practice by September 2028, ensuring that the people who love and serve our clients always have a voice in shaping our future. Our Membership approach is another important evolution, bringing truly proactive care into everyday life so pets can stay healthier at home.
